There is no longer a separate drafting note for this standard document as it now incorporates integrated drafting notes. The integrated drafting notes are, however, confined to issues arising from the fact that the sale is by a mortgagee. | Appointment of fixed charge or LPA receiver A precedent form of letter by which a secured creditor appoints a receiver to assets of a borrower, under a fixed charge, using powers granted by the relevant security documents. This precedent contains integrated drafting notes. |

The integrated drafting notes are confined to issues arising out of the fact that the sale is by a Law of Property Act receiver. | Letter before action: winding up petition An example letter before action (or letter before claim) to send to a debtor company threatening to present a winding up petition if the debt is not paid. This letter may be used as an alternative to a statutory demand under section 123(1)(a) of the Insolvency Act 1986. |
