| Freezing injunction: letter of advice to respondent (worldwide freezing order) This is an example of a letter to a client, who has been served with a worldwide freezing injunction obtained without notice. The letter is a useful starting point when advising the client on his obligations and other issues that arise, so that he may consider how to respond to the injunction. It is essential to consider it in the light of and adapt it to the specific facts and circumstances of the case. The letter should be read in conjunction with the integrated drafting notes and Practice note, Freezing injunctions: overview. The letter is appropriate to be sent to a client who is the respondent to the injunction.
